How to Wash a Konvy Hoodie (Step-by-Step)
Before You Wash
Turn your Konvy Premium Hoodie inside out. This protects the printed graphics and the outer fabric from friction. Zip up any zippers (if applicable) to prevent snagging.
Check the pockets for loose change, AirPods, or that one mystery receipt from three months ago. You don't want ink stains on that brush fleece.
Water Temperature
Cold water only. 30°C (86°F) max. Hot water will cause that 80% cotton to shrink and can warp the polyester fibers, making the fabric lose its shape. Cold water also prevents dye bleeding from the graphics.
Detergent Choice
Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and anything with brighteners. Fabric softener actually coats the cotton fibers, reducing breathability and the plush feel of the brushed interior. If you want softness, add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle instead.
Machine Settings
Gentle or delicate cycle. Turn the spin speed down to low - high spins wring out the moisture too aggressively, distorting the hoodie's structure. Wash with similar colors (dark with dark).
Drying: The Critical Step
Air dry flat. Seriously. Hang it over a drying rack or lay it on a clean towel. Never use a tumble dryer - the heat will shrink the cotton and can damage the print adhesive. If you're in a rush, tumble dry on NO heat (air fluff) for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then air dry the rest.
Ironing
If you must iron, do it inside out on low heat. Never iron directly over the print. Better yet, use a steamer to remove wrinkles without direct contact. - -
